Country Lanes Bowling Center

Country Lanes Bowling Center is a 26 lanes center that has been family owned and operated since 1985. With Brunswick Machines, Wood Lanes, a great family entertainment attitude and a professional, attentive staff. Country Lanes Bowling Center delivers the best bowling experience around.

Northwestern Hills Golf Course

The 18-hole “Demon Hills” course at the Northwestern Hills Golf Course facility in Natchitoches, Louisiana features all the hallmarks of Louisiana golf. Northwestern Hills golf course opened in 1981.  and is operated by NSU. This beautiful 18-hole golf course is located on rolling hills and includes many water hazards, making each round of golf a challenging experience.

NSU Recreation Complex Pool

The Recreation Complex is proud to feature an Olympic-size swimming pool. It is open to students, faculty, and staff, as well as the general public. The pool includes space for recreational and lap swimming. A spacious deck with lounge chairs surrounds the pool. The pool is operational during the warm months.

Fall Months*

NSU Recreation Complex Tennis

The Recreation Complex offers four tennis courts for recreational play.  The tennis courts are free and open to the general public all year.

U.S. Fish Hatchery

The Natchitoches National Fish Hatchery features sixteen tanks of native fish species highlighting river habitats from the South Eastern United States. The station is involved in spawning, hatching, and rearing young fish to restore natural populations.

The Hatchery is a warm water center concerned with spawning, hatching, and rearing young fish, called fingerlings. The fingerlings are raised to a size and age which offers them the best chance at survival in the wild.
