The Louisiana Restaurant Legends Award recognizes outstanding employees for their long-term dedication and service to the state's restaurant industry. Louisiana Restaurant Legends are recognized by their employers, patrons, and peers as being exceptional individuals who make the industry world-renown. Thursday, May 7th, the Louisiana Restaurant Association and the Natchitoches Area Convention and Visitors Bureau honored and recognized Lucille Pattain of Grayson’s BBQ Restaurant in Clarence for serving the community and tourists for 52 years and Marilyn Demars of Lasyone’s Meat Pie Kitchen & Restaurant in Natchitoches for being an icon in the restaurant business for 45 years. Natchitoches Area Convention and Visitors Bureau also recognized Pearlie Jones and Lillie Parker both of Lasyone’s for being employed since 1972 and 1974, respectively.
